West Fairlee voters approve budget

WEST FAIRLEE — In Tuesday’s voting, townspeople approved an operating budget of $1.06 million, of which $942,000 is to come from taxes.
Voters also approved a $90,000 appropriation for the West Fairlee Volunteer Fire Department, which is up from $82,500 last year.
In uncontested races, they elected Bree Carlson to a Selectboard term ending in 2028 and Bruce Durkee to a term ending in 2027.
