TUNBRIDGE — In floor voting on Tuesday, voters approved the town budget with a flat police budget instead of the $10,000 increase that was proposed.

With the reduction, they approved a general fund budget of $857,000.

They also approved a highway budget of $1.29 million, as well as $55,000 to support the fire department and a total of $19,000 to support social service groups.

Voters reelected Gary Mullen to the Selectboard.

Voters opted to keep the offices of first and second constable, but they remain unfilled.
