NEWPORT — The Library Arts Center is accepting submissions for its 14th annual Peeps Diorama Contest through Thursday, April 10.

People of all ages — either individually or as part of a group — can create a shoebox-sized diorama using the marshmallow treats that are most prevalent around Easter.

Entries must be brought to the Library Arts Center, located at 58 N. Main St., before 4 p.m. Thursday, April 10.

The dioramas will be displayed April 12-24; 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

An opening reception, featuring an award presentation, will take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 11.
