Contested races: Christopher Bergstrom and Robert Gray Jr. are vying for a three-year seat on the Selectboard. Larry Trottier is running unopposed for a two-year seat on the board.

Budgets and spending articles: The proposed general fund budget is $2.13 million, of which $1.97 million is to come from taxes. The proposed highway budget is $1.5 million, of which $1.35 million is to come from taxes. Last year’s general fund budget was $1.8 million and the highway budget was $1.3 million.

When, where and how to vote: Australian ballot voting to elect officers is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the gym at the White River Valley School, 223 S. Windsor Street. The floor meeting begins at 10 a.m. that day in the school gym.
