Police investigating shooting of man found in Grafton

GRAFTON — Police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound in Grafton on Monday evening, according to a news release from New Hampshire State Police.
The man is believed to have been shot in Danbury, N.H., before traveling to Grafton, police said.
State troopers from the Troop D barracks responded to a residence in Danbury for a report of a shooting at 10:09 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, “nearly simultaneously,” members of the Grafton Police Department and State Police troopers from the Troop F barracks responded to a home in Grafton for a report of a person with a gunshot wound.
The man who was shot was transported to a medical facility for treatment. There is no threat to the public and all parties in the incident have been identified, police said.
