BOYS HOCKEY

Hanover 4, Concord 1

Key players: Hanover — JoJo Drent (28 saves), Jake Rotchford, Will Hopkins, Gavin Nartowicz, Jack Wilkinson (one goal each)

Highlights: Two goals late in first period by Rotchford (with assists from Wyatt Seelig and Henry Cotter) and Hopkins (assists from Rotchford and Rowan Wilson) helped propel the Bears to victory. Nartowicz and Wilkinson scored in second to extend lead to 4-0 after two periods. Concord lost its first regular-season game since Feb. 12, 2021.

Highlights: Lebanon scored five consecutive goals in nine minutes, spanning the second and third periods. Maher led the way with four goals and one assist for the Raiders.

Windsor 51, Bellows Falls 42

Key players: Windsor — Noah Jenks (22 points), Corey Lockwood (nine points), Brady Olmstead (seven points); Bellows Falls — Cole Moore (11 points), Colby Dearborn (10 points)

Highlights: Windsor took an early lead and held on throughout the game to take the SVL-B victory against visiting Bellows Falls on Windsor’s Senior Night. This avenges a loss earlier in the year to the Terriers.

Plymouth 47, Lebanon 37

Key players: Plymouth — Turner Oldenberg (four 3-pointers), Chance Twomey (10 points); Lebanon — Declan Brandis (10 points), Matis Saint John (big defensive performance)

Highlights: Plymouth led the entire game, but Lebanon cut it to within one point in the third quarter. Plymouth’s second-chance opportunities kept the game just out of reach the rest of the way.

Key players: Mascoma — Brayden Pierce (16 points), Tanner Moulton (16 points), James Thomas (17 points), Aiden Smith (11 points); Inter-Lakes — Addie Kernen (14 points), Ben Beaduoin (6 points), Danny Bean (nine ponts)

Highlights: Most balanced scoring attack the entire season as the third-seeded Royals rolled in their NHIAA Division III tournament opener. Bryce Ballou had great minutes off the bench, bringing energy. T.J. Mardin and Colin Meyers controlled the glass, allowing us to get out in transition. Mascoma will host No. 6 White Mountains in a Friday quarterfinal at 7 p.m.

Highlights: After being down 15 points through three quarters, Plymouth made a late push to come within three, but Lebanon held them off and sealed the win with some key free throws from Drew Kantor.
