Boys Tennis

Hollis-Brookline 6, Lebanon 3

Key players: Lebanon — No. 1 singles: Lebanon’s Kyle Hines, 8-4, over Hollis-Brookline’s Arjun Inakollu. No. 1 doubles: Lebanon’s Hines/Lucas Graham, 8-0, over Hollis-Brookline’s Inakollu/Samuel Anthony. No. 2 doubles: Lebanon’s Augie Church-Cole/Lavi Halwawalla, 8-3, over Hollis-Brookline’s John Torpey/Finn Brown

Highlights: 1 singles and 1 doubles were our most dominant performances, leaving no doubt. 2 singles and doubles with 3 singles were hard-fought and close matches, with the singles matches particularly tight. In the end, H-B's depth carried the day. We agreed to play indoors to avoid any weather issues, and we are grateful that H-B agreed to play early to accommodate our seniors and their final exam performance for their Shakespeare class.

Coach's quote: “What a whirlwind of a season, exacerbated by all of the rain. We are so proud of our players. From one through 19, every single player improved over the course of the season and had fun. We look forward to representing LHS in the individual tournament.” — Lebanon’s Tammy Arado and Jarrod Shaheen

Records: Hollis-Brookline 12-3; Lebanon 10-6
