No. 2 doubles: Lebanon’s Augie Church-Cole/Lavi Halwawalla, 8-3, over Hollis-Brookline’s John Torpey/Finn Brown

Highlights: 1 singles and 1 doubles were our most dominant performances, leaving no doubt. 2 singles and doubles with 3 singles were hard-fought and close matches, with the singles matches particularly tight. In the end, H-B's depth carried the day. We agreed to play indoors to avoid any weather issues, and we are grateful that H-B agreed to play early to accommodate our seniors and their final exam performance for their Shakespeare class.

Key players: Thetford — Miles Lawrence (winning pitcher, complete game, 8 hits allowed, 6 strikeouts, 0 walks); Lawrence, JD Farrell and Andrew Spooner (2 hits each)

Highlights: Thetford scored 6 runs in the 3rd inning, Farrell, Spooner and Lawrence all had RBI doubles, and Evan Patterson brought in another run with a squeeze bunt. On the mound, Lawrence threw 87 pitches, allowing just 1 earned run.
