Hanover finishes first
in 10-team meet
Key players: Hanover — Scoring in the slalom meet were Ali Daigle in 2nd, Dahlia Fuld in 4th, Cassidy Loughman in 5th and Campbell Madden in 6th. In the giant slalom, Daigle was 1st, Loughman 4th, Sadie Ross 6th, and Madden 8th.
Coach’s quote: “Placing 14 skiers in the top 30 really shows the depth of our girls team this year. Hopefully this will allow us to challenge each other to grow while also giving each racer the latitude to ski with freedom when it comes to races.” — Hanover’s Noah Brennan
Bears win Bretton Woods meet
Key players: Hanover — Scoring in the slalom for the team were Hopper Kelly in 3rd, Hayden Clapp in 5th, Ben Ames in 6th, and Charlie Gartner in 9th. In the giant slalom, Peak Temple finished 4th, Ben Ames 5th, Hopper Kelly 6th, and Hayden Clapp 7th.
Coach’s quote: “Working diligently in our dry land training really paid dividends today. The conditioning we’ve built up allowed us to hit the snow with confidence. Missing some experience seniors to injury, the younger guys really stepped up today. It makes me hopeful for the rest of the season and for seasons going forward.” — Noah Brennan

Highlights: Hanover fell behind 3-0 six minutes into first period, battled back to tie it at 3 midway through 2nd. Pinkerson scored to go up 4-3 and then the Bears scored next 3 to take 6-4 lead. Pinkerton scored two late in third period goals to force OT.
