Lebanon resident named Conn. VA director

LEBANON — A Lebanon resident has been named executive director of the VA Connecticut Healthcare System.

Dr. Becky Rhoads was named to the post on Oct. 8. In her new role, Rhoads, an audiologist who had served as associate director of the White River Junction VA since 2018, will oversee the delivery of care to approximately 59,000 veterans in Connecticut and southern New England.

Rhoads served as the chief of audiology in White River Junction before moving into health care administration. She also held interim director positions in White River Junction and Lexington, Ky. 

Rhoads is a graduate of the University of Vermont with a dual degree in communication sciences and psychology. She also holds a doctorate in audiology from Northeastern University.
