A construction crew from Bow, N.H.-based firm R.S. Audley works to remove the steel superstructure of an Interstate 89 bridge that spans the Connecticut River in West Lebanon, N.H., on Thursday, March 28, 2024. The bridge, which previously held southbound traffic, is being rehabilitated as part of a five-year project that will combine the two original bridges with a median bridge in order to create auxiliary lanes and expand shoulders to improve overall safety.
