Haverhill voters support school bonds

HAVERHILL — Voters passed all warned articles at the annual Haverhill Cooperative School District meeting.

By ballot, voters approved a $2.29 million bond for renovations at the Woodsville Elementary School, 112-18, and to raise $57,230 from taxation for bond issuance costs and the first year’s debt service payment. They also approved a $700,000 bond for an expansion at French Pond School, 102-20.

From the floor, voters passed a school budget of $16.6 million, up from $15.6 million from last year, and greenlighted a new bargaining agreement for support staff, which begins at $160,000 the first year.
