Budgets and spending articles: The proposed general fund budget is $1.47 million, with $1.11 million to come from taxes. The proposed highway fund budget is $312,000, with $233,000 to come from taxes. The proposed amount to come from taxes for the capital budget is $348,000. Last year voters approved a $1.37 million general fund budget, $331,000 highway budget and $287,000 for capital improvements.

When, where and how to vote: Town Meeting will take place on Tuesday, March 4, at 10 a.m. in the Fairlee Town Hall, 75 Town Common Road.
