WEST LEBANON — The Aspen Group, which has a dental clinic on Route 12A in West Lebanon, continues to have problems with its systems following a late April cyberattack, according to a spokeswoman.
Most Aspen Dental locations are open and seeing existing patients to treat some issues and counsel them on next steps following the cyberattack, which was discovered on April 25, Meredith (Payette) Nichols, an Aspen spokeswoman, said in a Wednesday email. The attack affected scheduling systems, phone systems and other business applications, according to a news release on the company’s website.
“We are focused on bringing systems back online as quickly and as safely as possible,” she said. “While we are not able to share a specific timetable, a majority of our offices are open, and we are continuing to care for existing patients and will be scheduling new patients again shortly.”
The company also is investigating the nature and scope of the incident, Nichols said.
Aspen has dental offices in 45 states, including both Vermont and New Hampshire.
