Discussion about mental health and suicide to be held in Lyme

LYME — CommunityCare of Lyme is scheduled to host a community discussion of mental health and suicide on Sunday in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month.
The event speakers include: Angie Raymond Leduc, manager of the Injury Prevention Center within Population Health at Dartmouth Health; Terri Lavely, who works for the St. Johnsbury, Vt.-based designated mental health agency Northeast Kingdom Human Services; and Al Carbonneau, who manages Headrest’s crisis call center. Laurie Veillette, a clinical psychologist, will serve as emcee for the event.
Topics include: The breadth of the problem in the Twin States; signs that can help save a life; and resources for support, including 988. The event also will include a guided question and answer session.
