The three remaining Upper Valley Rite Aid stores — in Claremont, West Lebanon, and Windsor — are slated to close by the end of the summer, following the national drugstore chain’s bankruptcy filing in early May.

In Claremont, the pharmacy portion of Rite Aid, located at 73 Pleasant Street, is scheduled to close on July 13. Prescriptions will be transferred to the Claremont CVS, on 1 Wall Street, unless customers request otherwise.

In West Lebanon, the Rite Aid pharmacy, located in the Powerhouse Plaza on Route 12A, is scheduled close on July 20.

Prescriptions will be transferred to the West Lebanon CVS.

Fifteen miles away on Main Street in Windsor, the pharmacy portion of Rite Aid is slated to be the last to close on July 31. Prescriptions will be transferred to the Claremont CVS.

Since filing for bankruptcy in early May, the drugstore chain has closed hundreds of Rite Aid stores across the country, including ones in Randolph, Bethel and Newport.

The Claremont, West Lebanon and Windsor Rite Aid stores are scheduled to shutter several weeks after their pharmacies close.
