CLAREMONT — The Claremont district office of the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services now will be closed through March 15 due to water damage, according to a DHHS news release.

The office, located at 17 Water Street, Suite 301, has been closed since extreme cold in early February caused pipes to burst. The damage requires additional repair work, the release said. DHHS plans to provide an update on the office’s reopening date before March 15.

In the meantime, the Bureau of Family Assistance will have employees available to answer questions, process paperwork and schedule appointments at the NH Employment Security office at 404 Washington Street in Claremont, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

The DHHS Customer Service Center can be reached at 1-844-ASK-DHHS (1-844-275-3447). People can also manage their accounts and apply for services through https://nheasy.nh.gov/#/.
