Town Meeting preview: Strafford Selectboard races on the ballot

Contested races: John Freitag and Toni M. Pippy are facing off for a three-year seat on the Selectboard. Meanwhile, Andrew Duncklee, Kelly Harman and Andy Silovich are vying for a two-year seat on the Selectboard. Hannah Levinger is running unopposed for two years remaining on a three-year Selectboard seat. On the school side, Sarah Root is running for a three-year board seat and Nelle Donaldson is running for a two-year seat. Both are unopposed.

Budget and spending articles: The proposed municipal budget is $1.85 million, up from $1.35 million last year. The School Board has postponed the school budget vote.

When, where and how to vote: Australian ballot voting will take place on Tuesday, March 5 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Strafford Town House.
