HAVERHILL — Road work is scheduled to begin on Thursday, July 6, on Routes 10 and 302 in Haverhill, according to a news release from the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.

On weekdays over about eight weeks of construction, daytime lane closures will be in effect and are expected to result in minor delays.

The construction is to include guardrail replacements, traffic signal removals, drainage improvements, milling and paving.

J. Hutchins, of Richmond, Vt., is the prime contractor for the $4.9 million project, which is scheduled for completion by Sept. 22.
