Motorcycle passenger dies in Dorchester crash

DORCHESTER — A 23-year-old Meredith, N.H., woman was killed in a motorcycle crash in Dorchester on Saturday, one of three motorcycle fatalities in the state over the weekend, New Hampshire State Police said.

Madeline Tredo was a passenger on the motorcycle traveling eastbound on Route 118 in Dorchester when it failed to negotiate a turn, crossed the center line the center line and into the opposite lane where it struck an oncoming vehicle on Saturday, according to a news release issued by New Hampshire State Police.

Police provided no information on the condition of the operator of the motorcycle nor anyone in the oncoming vehicle.

Also on Saturday, a 56-year-old man from Hudson, N.H., died in a motorcycle crash after he collided with a passenger vehicle on Route 31 in Greenville, N.H., and a 51-year-old-man, also from Hudson, died from injuries sustained in a crash when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed near the Lower Falls Scenic Area on Route 112 in Albany, N.H., according to police.
