WEST LEBANON — In a game with both teams fighting for a playoff spot, the Bears (8-9) killed off a penalty in overtime, then got a power-play goal from Wyatt Seelig for the win.

Henry Cotter snapped a pass to Jack Gardner, who spotted Seelig in the slot, and the junior captain fired it home for his second goal of the game.

Jack Wilkinson also scored for the Bears and besides Cotter and Gardner, Ronan Przydzielski and Gavin Miller had assists. Jo Jo Drent made 26 saves.

“The win was nice but it was how we won that was most impressive,” Bears coach Dick Dodds said. “The boys overcame a ton of adversity and persevered. From lots of injuries, jumbled lines, it was chaos and then giving up the late goal and having to kill a penalty in OT, very impressive.”
