ENFIELD — The Enfield Zoning Board of Adjustment will hear two appeals filed in response to granting two variances for a proposed housing development in Enfield.
The meeting will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the DPW Facility, 74 Lockehaven Road. It can be also streamed on Microsoft Teams via https://www.enfield.nh.us/zoning-board-adjustment/meeting/zoning-board-meeting.
Last month, Zoning Board members approved two variances for Laramie Farms, a roughly 300-unit apartment and townhouse development proposed on around 77 acres of land between Route 4 and Maple Street. The board gave approval for developers to construct more than one building per primary lot. The board also allowed the to exceed Enfield’s height limit of 35 feet by putting in apartment buildings that would be around 73 feet tall and townhouses that would be around 44 feet tall.
The appeals were filed by Trae and S. Gwyn Dessert, of C-More Farm Drive, and Linda Jones and Alv Elvestad, of Route 4, who are all direct abutters to the Laramie Farms property.
