Celebrating Recovery Day

Sheila Young, Executive Director of Second Wind Foundation, right, congratulates Lebanon residents Kora Hartwell, middle, Joey Tremblay, left, and their son Real Tremblay, after learning that they are expecting another baby, at Upper Valley Turning Point in Hartford, Vt., on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024. Turning Point was hosting a watch party for Recovery Day, an annual advocacy event in Vermont to celebrate substance abuse disorder recovery. The event has been held virtually since the pandemic in 2020 and Hartwell and Tremblay, who have attended recovery meetings at the center, came as volunteers to help with the event and talk with others who are earlier in their recovery.
