Local roundup: MSJ spoils Windsor boys basketball’s Senior Night

WINDSOR — Mount St. Joseph held Maison Fortin to 16 points, more than 12 below his season average, on his Senior Night as the Windsor High boys basketball team fell, 55-46, to the Green Wave.

The Yellowjackets (7-13) had a four-point lead after a quarter before MSJ outscored them 15-4 in the second. Windsor fought back to forge a tie entering the fourth, but the Green Wave pulled away late.

Junior guard Corey Lockwood added 13 points for the Yellowjackets, and senior forward Rodger Petermann chipped in with 12 on four 3-pointers.
