WELLS RIVER — The start of a planned nightly closure of southbound I-91 between Wells River and Bradford, Vt., has been delayed to Wednesday, Oct. 25, a postponement of two days from the originally scheduled start

For four nights starting Wednesday, I-91 South between Exits 17 and 16 will be closed from 6 p.m. until 7 a.m. the following day as crews perform bridge repairs, according to a Tuesday news release from the Vermont Agency of Transportation.

No through traffic will be permitted during the closure and the parking area between Exits 17 and 16 southbound will be closed.

The detour will take traffic off I-91 South at Exit 17, east along U.S. 302, south on U.S. 5 in Wells River, and west on Route 25 in Bradford, before returning to I-91 South at Exit 16.
