WARNER, N.H. — A 40-year-old Enfield man wanted on a warrant faces multiple new charges following a vehicle pursuit on Interstate 93 and crash in Warner, N.H., early Tuesday morning, New Hampshire State Police said in a news release.

Ryan Sharkey failed to stop for New Hampshire State troopers’ emergency lights and sirens and continued to flee in a Ford Focus through several towns including Hooksett, N.H., Bow, N.H., Concord, Hopkinton, N.H., and Warner, according to police.

Twice during the pursuit, Sharkey allegedly drove head-on towards troopers from the Troop D barracks, nearly causing a collision, police said.

The pursuit ended on Route 127 in Warner when Sharkey turned off his car lights and failed to negotiate a curve, causing the Ford Focus to roll over in the middle of the roadway and come to a rest.

Sharkey faces felony charges for reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, disobeying a police officer, aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated second offense, operating after suspension offense, misuse of plates and unregistered motor vehicle.

Sharkey was transported to Concord Hospital with non-life- threatening injuries, police said, and was scheduled to appear at the Merrimack County Superior Court on Tuesday.

Sharkey, formerly of Lebanon, had an active N.H. probation and parole warrant and a N.H. district court bench warrant for his arrest stemming from prior felony drug offenses in Grafton County, according to court records.
