Dresden voters approve budget and new teachers contract

NORWICH — Voters approved a new collective bargaining agreement between the Hanover Education Association and the Dresden School Board during Tuesday Town Meeting ballot voting.

The cost of the new contract in the first year, 2024-25, is $792,000.

They also approved the proposed $30.25 million school operating budget.

There were 1,645 residents of Norwich and Hanover who voted.
