BRADFORD — Voters rejected two articles at the floor portion of Town Meeting on Saturday.

One of the rejected articles would have established an on-going reserve fund for conservation commission projects and appropriated $5,000 to the fund. The other would have appropriated $13,500 to Visiting Nurse and Hospice for Vermont and New Hampshire.

Voters approved $1.48 million general fund and $1.24 million highway budgets, with $2.4 million to come from taxes.

They rejected an article asking whether the town should “cease the scoping, design and/or construction of a walking/bicycle path or sidewalk” from Vermont Route 25B to a park and ride located off the intersection of Route 25 and Plateau Acres.

At the polls on Tuesday, Meroa Benjamin won a three-year seat on the Selectboard, with 283 votes to Ryan Rebozo’s 233.

In an uncontested race, Daniel Perry III won a two-year seat on the board.

As of Tuesday, Bradford had 1,970 registered voters, and 536 voted.

CORRECTION: Bradford, Vt., voters rejected a Town Meeting article, 68-54, to cease scoping, design and/or construction of a walking/bicycle path or sidewalk along Creamery Road to the park and ride at the intersection of Route 25 and Plateau Acres.
